Long Beach School District campuses on lockdown due to potential threat

LONG BEACH, Miss. (WXXV)- According to the Long Beach School District, all school district campuses are currently on lockdown due to a potential threat.

Law enforcement from multiple agencies are actively assessing the situation.

The school district says parents and guardians should not come to the school campuses right now. Students will not be permitted to be checked out during the lockdown.

The Long Beach School District will continue to share information through their official school channels, including their Facebook page, email, and text notifications.
