Gulf Coast Veterans Health Care System, Salvation Army team up to support expecting veteran mothers
For expecting and new mothers who have served our country, a little support can go a long way.
That’s why the Gulf Coast Veterans Health Care System is teaming up with the Salvation Army Kroc Center to collect much needed baby essentials for veteran families.
Expecting a baby can come with a long list of needs from diapers and wipes to clothing and bath supplies.
Now, the Gulf Coast Veterans Health Care System is asking the community to help make sure new and expecting veteran moms have some of these essentials.
Donations are being accepted September 8th through September 11 at the Salvation Army Kroc Center.
Organizers are looking for new baby items, including diapers, wipes, and diaper cream along with diaper bags and baby clothing.
Other needed items include pacifiers, teethers, toys, books, hooded bath towels, baby shampoo and lotions, bottles and sippy cups, bibs, swaddle blankets, and sleep sacks.
The goal is simple: help local veteran moms prepare for their newest family members.
