North Bay Civitans holding annual Bears on Patrol drive thru
D’IBERVILLE, Miss. (WXXV)- The North Bay Civitan Club of D’Iberville and St. Martin is hosting their annual Bears on Patrol Drive-Thru.
This year marks the 17th year the club gathers to collect new or gently used teddy bears to give to local law enforcement agencies. This year, the teddy bears will be donated to the Gautier Police and Fire departments.
The drive thru takes place September 19 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the Target parking lot at the Promenade in D’Iberville.
If you cannot make it to the drive-thru, there are other opportunities to donate. You can drop off teddy bears at any of the following locations:
- Jerry Lawrence Memorial Library
- Hall’s Engraving
- The Cypress Taphouse
- USM-GCRL’s
- Sunshine’s Elite Pet Services
- Lost Pizza Co.
Those donations will be accepted until Friday, September 18 at noon.
