Meta glasses distribution for blinded veterans in D’Iberville

D’IBERVILLE, Miss. (WXXV)- A veteran’s association is holding a distribution event for Meta glasses with the specific goal of improving accessibility for blind veterans.

The event takes place at VFW Post 6731 on West Gay Road in D’Iberville Saturday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Eligible veterans will receive generation one Meta glasses, along with on-site training from members of the Blinded Veterans Association.

Anyone hoping to receive a pair must bring a smart phone.

Representatives will also be available to help veterans join the BVA or VFW.
