New spider species found on Horn Island

A pretty unique discovery was recently made by researchers on Horn Island.

A photo shared by Gulf Island National Seashore shows the orange complexion of the spider, which scientists say is related to the Asagena Fulva species of spiders.

So far, this new spider has only been found on Horn Island and has been observed eating Florida harvester ants on the island.
