Keesler Medical Center highlights teamwork behind life-saving cardiac arrest response

BILOXI, Miss. (WXXV)- The Keesler Medical Center staff was put to the test last week.

On August 20, a critical emergency at the Keesler Emergency Department ended with a life saved.

A 67-year-old patient suffered a cardiac arrest. The emergency response team mobilized with precision.

From the first chest compression to rapid defibrillation, every second counted and every member played a role.

The staff’s quick work made sure survival was possible and the patient is currently recovering.
