Mississippi Aquarium releasing turtles in Alabama
The Mississippi Aquarium will be hosting a turtle release Thursday in Alabama.
Taking place on Dauphin Island, one Kemp’s Ridley sea turtle named Circle and one Loggerhead named Pyramid will be returning to the water.
The turtle release is taking place at 10 a.m. at the west end public beach.
The aquarium’s tent and van will be on site as well to answer any questions the public may have about these animals, including more on their species and conservation efforts.
