8/19- Brynne’s “Still Sweltering” Wednesday Forecast

Heat continues to take over the forecast across South Mississippi.

Heat Advisories are in effect from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. Wednesday. High temperatures near 96°, but it could feel as hot as 110°. Expect partly cloudy skies, with a chance for afternoon showers and thunderstorms, mainly between 1 p.m. and 5 p.m. These storms will be hit-or-miss, so not everyone will see rain today. However, any storms that develop could become severe.

Tonight will remain humid, with clouds gradually thinning as temperatures fall into the upper 70s to low 80s.

Continue to practice heat safety. This heat can be dangerous, especially after enduring several days of it.
