Hattiesburg man sentenced for child sex crimes

A Hattiesburg man will serve 20 years in prison for distributing child sexual abuse material.

Attorney General Lynn Fitch’s office says 54-year-old Kenneth Loveless was sentenced recently in Forrest County.

In addition to his prison sentence, Loveless must also register as a sex offender and pay $2,000 to funds supporting victims and children.

The Mississippi Attorney General’s Office investigated and prosecuted the case with assistance from state and federal partners.
