Jackson County Fire Protection crews battle shop fire in Vancleave leading to evacuation

Vancleave, Miss. (WXXV)- Jackson County Fire Protection crews responded to a shop fire in Vancleave Monday night. The fire happening on Moungers Road.

Crews located the fire and worked to contain the flames. Due to the conditions and inability to safely locate the source of the fire, crews were forced to evacuate the building.

No injuries were reported during the incident.

The Fire Protection team thanks the reserves for their rapid response, teamwork and dedication.
