Gulfport fire crews respond to Friday afternoon woods fire

GULFPORT, Miss. (WXXV)– Gulfport fire crews are currently battling a small woods fire north of I-10.

Fire Chief Billy Kelley tells WXXV the fire is about half an acre in size, near the area of Tandy Drive and Sharp Boulevard.

No structures are in danger from the flames at this time. Crews were called to the scene around 3 p.m. Friday afternoon.
