Man charged with sexually assaulting a child in George County
GEORGE COUNTY, Miss. (WXXV)- In George County, a 19-year-old is charged with sexually assaulting a child.
Brenten Chavers is charged with two counts of sexual battery after turning himself into deputies last week.
His arrest comes after a lengthy investigation, where investigators say Chavers sexually assaulted a child under the age of 14 over the course of several years.
Chavers is currently being held at the George County Jail.
