President Trump approves disaster declaration for South Mississippi flooding

President Trump has approved Mississippi’s request for a major disaster declaration for the South Mississippi counties impacted by flooding from the remnant of Tropical Storm Arthur.
Individual assistance is available for residents in Hancock, Harrison, Pearl River, and Stone counties, helping cover temporary housing, home repairs, and other disaster related needs.
Public assistance was also approved for George, Greene, Hancock, Harrison, Pearl River, and Stone counties to help with debris removal, emergency work, and damaged public infrastructure.
