Traffic Advisory: Alternating lane and intermittent bridge CLOSURES on I-110 in Harrison County

HARRISON COUNTY, Miss. (WXXV)-Drivers in South Mississippi should be aware of a traffic advisory for the I-110 Bridge in Harrison County.

According to MDOT, alternating lane closures and intermittent bridge closures will take place in both directions of I-110 between Bayview Avenue and Rodriguez Street. Those closures begin Monday, July 27 at 6 p.m. and continuing through noon on Friday, July 31.

The closures are necessary for crews to perform routine inspections of the drawbridge.

MDOT says lane closures and bridge testing will take place mostly at night while crews inspect the drawbridge.

Drivers should seek an alternate route. MDOT reminds drivers to be on high alert for roadside workers.
