Election qualifying begins for municipal and county school board races
Tuesday was the first day of election qualifying for certain offices in Mississippi.
Candidates wanting to run for city, county, or special school district seats now have through 5 p.m. on August 20th to file for these races, which will appear on November’s general election ballot.
