Former Waveland Assistant Fire Chief Casey Piazza passes away

WAVELAND, Miss. (WXXV)- The Waveland Fire Department is mourning the loss of former Assistant Fire Chief Casey Piazza.

The department announced he passed away this week after a long courageous battle with cancer. The department says he battled the cancer with the same strengthen and determination he showed throughout his time as a firefighter.

Waveland Fire Department asks the community to keep the Piazza family, Casey’s friends and all who served with him in your thoughts and prayers.
