Princess Night at MGM Park

Gowns, crowns and baseball: if you were at MGM Park in Biloxi, you may have seen all three.
It was Little Princess Night at the Biloxi Shuckers game. It started off with a princess parade before the game. There were arts and crafts, a costume contest, cookies and a chance to get pictures and autographs with the princesses.
The Shuckers invited dads and daughters for the special night at the park for their game against the Birmingham Barons. Sophia Miers, a princess at the game with her dad, said, “My favorite part was going through the cameras and waving.”
Emily Applegate, who played Princess Sleeping Beauty, said, “They love it! Their eyes when they see us just light up. They think we’re the real thing and I love it.”
The Shuckers pulled out a 6-5 victory over the Barons.
Employees with the Biloxi Shuckers tell News 25 the daddy-daughter princess night was put together to celebrate Father’s Day.
