Emergency road, lane closures issued for parts of East Pass Road and Lindh Road

(Gulfport, MS) – DNA Underground has issued an Emergency Road Closure for Lindh Road and Lane Closures on East Pass Road for a cave-in repair project.

Lindh Road, between East Pass Road and Switzer Road, is currently closed to traffic, including a section of both westbound lanes and the center turn lane of East Pass Road between Oakleigh Avenue and Varnado Lane. All roads are expected to reopen on Tuesday, August 4, 2026, at 6:00 p.m., weather permitting.

Both eastbound lanes of East Pass Road will remain open to accommodate eastbound and westbound traffic. Debuys Road and Switzer Road will serve as the designated detour route for citizens in the areas surrounding Lindh Road.

The City of Gulfport urges all residents to proceed with caution and follow all traffic markers, detours, and flagger instructions in the area.
