Pascagoula K9 Officer Rico passes away

PASCAGOULA, Miss. (WXXV)- The Pascagoula Police Department announced the death of K9 Rico.

Retired K9 Officer Rico passed away over the weekend. He retired in 2021. His career was filled with many apprehensions and the department shares Rico proved to be a K9 with courage and dedication.

Pascagoula police shared he will be greatly missed, but take some comfort in knowing he was given a wonderful life by his handler and family.
