7/12 – Brynne’s “Rainy Sunday” Forecast

Tonight will remain mostly cloudy, with a few light showers possible. Overnight lows will be in the mid-70s.

Keep the umbrella handy to start the workweek. Rounds of rain and thunderstorms are expected to move in Monday morning, with the greatest chance for heavy rain and localized flash flooding before 4 p.m. The flood risk could continue into Tuesday.

The rain will keep temperatures a little cooler Monday afternoon, with highs in the mid-80s.

Drier weather returns by midweek, but the break from the rain will allow the heat and humidity to build. Heat index values could approach advisory levels by the weekend.
