Crews working brush fire near north side of Johnson Bayou in Harrison County

HARRISON COUNTY, Miss. (WXXV)- The Harrison County Fire Rescue is currently working a brush fire located along the north side of Johnson Bayou.

At this time, there is no threat to the City of Pass Christian or nearby homes in the area.

Harrison County crews are actively working the fire and the Pass Christian Fire Department is monitoring the situation closely.

The public is asked to avoid the area so emergency personnel can safely do their jobs.
