City of Wiggins conducting smoke tests throughout the week
WIGGINS, Miss. (WXXV)- The City of Wiggins is conducting smoke tests this week.
The first one started earlier Tuesday and they will be happening from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. each day through Friday.
Areas where you may see smoke are:
- Miles Avenue
- Black Burn Street
- Gloria Grove
- Carman Court
- Braxton Avenue
- Elizabeth Street
- Hubert Avenue
- Baker Street
- Deerfield Apartments
- Ralph Street
- Anthony Avenue
- Heather Drive
- Ashwood
- North Sergent St.
- Campbell Drive
- Fairway Drive
- Short Avenue
City officials and the fire department ask residents to avoid the areas if smoke becomes heavy.
