Runners participate in 45th annual Wesson Memorial Run
OCEAN SPRINGS, Miss. (WXXV)- Runners laced up their shoes and kicked off Independence Day with a long-standing Gulf Coast tradition in Ocean Springs.
The 45th annual Wesson Memorial Run brought hundreds of runners together Saturday morning to celebrate the Fourth of July.
The annual event is a favorite holiday tradition for many on the Mississippi Gulf Coast, combining fitness, community spirit, and patriotic celebration.
Local businesses, volunteers, and supporters helped make the race another success, as friends, and families gathered to cheer runners on from start to finish.
