The Patriots Flag Tour stops in Biloxi
On May 27th, one American flag began a 14,000 mile, 100 day journey through the 48 continental states.
The flag travels on the back of a motorcycle, transferred to a new flag bearer at each destination along the route. It’s escorted to its next destination by groups ranging from five to 500.
All riders have the same goal in mind: to raise money and support for veterans and their families. Steve Carrington with the Mississippi Coast Harley Owners Group said, “The Nation of Patriots is a group of individuals that started about eight years ago honoring and protecting the past, present, and the fallen veterans of America. It’s one single flag that travels all 48 states and it symbolizes the veterans of this country that gave their lives.”
The Patriots will continue their journey out of Biloxi and the next stop for the flag will be in Pensacola, Florida.
