Section of Beach Road scheduled for closure on Wednesday in Gulfport

GULFPORT, Miss. (WXXV)- The City of Gulfport has scheduled a road closure for a section of Beach Drive.

Crews will be working on a drainage repair project between Debuys Road and Anniston Avenue.

That work should begin on July 2 and 7:30 in the morning. The road is expected to reopen on July 15 by 3:30 p.m.

Debuys Road, East Pass Road, and Anniston Avenue will serve as the designated detour route.

Residents and businesses will have access to their properties.
