Southern Legislative Conference 2017

The 2017 Southern Legislative Conference will take place right here in Biloxi over the weekend.
The meeting is set to bring together more than 1,300 state legislators as well as their staff and guests from 15 states. Mississippi last hosted this meeting in 2000.
The meeting agenda features some of Mississippi’s recent and effective programs like the ‘Education Works’ reforms, coastal restoration following Hurricane Katrina, and economic development in the Golden Triangle.
Attendees will also come together on Sunday, July 30th at the Mississippi Coast Convention Center to package 50,000 meals for donation to Mississippi Food Network.
