D’Iberville High School blood donation fundraiser

Giving blood saves three lives. Today it also gave people a chance to support the D’Iberville High School band.
Students and community members lined up outside of the band hall to donate blood. The band will receive $10 per unit of blood donated.
Band Director James Brown tells News 25 that this is not the only fundraiser that the band has planned. “Coupon books, we are taking some raffles, some plate dinner type stuff. We have a lot of travel expenses and the drill, the music for our halftime show, the uniforms and all that cost money so any little bit helps.”
The band’s goal was to reach 30 units of blood.
