Residents in Ocean Springs encouraged to report storm damage

OCEAN SPRINGS, Miss. (WXXV)- Residents of Ocean Springs are being encouraged to report any home or property damage sustained during last week’s storms.

The city’s fire department says damage reports help officials assess the overall impact of the storm and identify areas needing help.

Residents can head to the state’s emergency management agency website, a reminder that these applications are not for financial assistance.

Make sure to take photos of damage before you make repairs, these images can be used for future assessments and insurance.
