City of Biloxi recognized as 2025 Tree City
BILOXI, Miss. (WXXV)- Mayor FoFo Gilich recognized Biloxi as a 2025 Tree City.
That proclamation came during Tuesday’s city council meeting.
This honors the city’s commitment to planting, growing, and maintaining trees in the community.
This designation marks 42 years of Tree City USA recognition for Biloxi.
It also reflects the city’s work towards the program’s requirement of supporting urban forestry through a tree department, tree ordinance, and public investment in urban forestry.
