New command truck going into service for Ocean Springs Fire Department

OCEAN SPRINGS, Miss. (WXXV)- The Ocean Springs Fire Department is sharing a new command truck is going into service.

The vehicle has a slight change in design, including a thin red line.

The fire department says the line serves as a tribute to all firefighters who have made the ultimate sacrifice.

The new command truck is also equipped with new emergency lighting, sirens and technology to help firefighters serve the community.

The light bar and siren system was upgraded as well.
