Exercise underway at NCBC Base in Gulfport; residents may hear increased activity
GULFPORT, Miss. (WXXV)- You may hear an increase in activity near the Seabee Base over the next week as an exercise begins.
NCBC officials say that the exercise kicked off Wednesday in conjunction with the Army Reserve’s 78th Training Support Division.
This training means you may see and hear sirens, simulated weapons systems, and large gatherings of military police and armored vehicles.
This is only an exercise and it’s set to end on June 17.
