Alligator draw applications now open

A reminder from the Mississippi Department of Wildlife, Fisheries, and Parks, the public water alligator draw is still open for applications.

You have until June 12 to get your application in.

Permits are limited to specific hunting zones. Only ‘public waterways’ within each zone, as defined by MDEQ, will be open to hunting.

Applications will only be available to residents and lifetime license holders.

Applicants are required to possess a combination hunting/fishing type license to apply.

There is no fee to apply.
