Parts of Keesler Medical Center temporarily closed due to increased flea activity in the area
BILOXI, Miss. (WXXV)- Part of Keesler Medical Center will be temporarily closed starting today through next Tuesday.
The closure is due to increased flea activity in the vicinity of Keesler Medical Center and the surrounding area following heavy rain and humid weather.
Out of an abundance of caution, some Keesler Medical Center appointments may be rescheduled or shifted to virtual appointments starting Friday and lasting through Tuesday.
The temporary closure affects primary care, dental, radiology, laboratory, and the main pharmacy.
A team member should contact you about rescheduling and offering virtual options.
If you need immediate care, go to the nearest ER or call 911.
