Alvin Kamara Back at OTA’s as Saints Continue to Prepare for 2026 Season
METAIRIE, LA. — The New Orleans Saints continued organized team activities this week, with a familiar face back on the practice field.
Veteran running back Alvin Kamara was in attendance as the Saints held another round of voluntary offseason workouts, providing leadership and experience as the team prepares for the 2026 NFL season.
Organized Team Activities (OTA’s) serve as an important part of the offseason program, allowing players and coaches to work on timing, communication, and play installation ahead of training camp.
Kamara’s return to the facility comes as the Saints continue shaping their roster and establishing chemistry throughout the organization. As one of the team’s longest-tenured players and offensive leaders, his presence provides an example for younger teammates and newcomers learning the system.
The offseason workouts also allow coaches to evaluate talent and monitor progress across the roster. Rookies, free-agent acquisitions, and returning veterans are all competing for opportunities while preparing for the next phase of the team’s offseason schedule.
With Kamara back in the building and preparations for the season underway, the Saints are focused on laying the foundation for a successful 2026 campaign.
