West Harrison Standout Jordan Stapleton Commits to Central Michigan
One of South Mississippi’s top football playmakers is headed to the Mid-American Conference.
West Harrison standout running back Jordan Stapleton has officially committed to Central Michigan University, continuing his football journey at the Division I level.
Stapleton, a Hurricane star, early enrolled and spent the spring semester at Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College. Now, he’ll make the move to Mount Pleasant, Michigan, where he’ll suit up for the Central Michigan Chippewas.
The dynamic running back put together an impressive senior campaign last fall, rushing for 1,140 yards while totaling 1,483 all-purpose yards. Stapleton also found the end zone 20 times, showcasing the speed and explosiveness that made him one of the most dangerous offensive weapons in the region.
With his commitment secured, Central Michigan adds a proven playmaker to its backfield and a player capable of making an immediate impact.
Congratulations to Jordan Stapleton on the next chapter of his football career.
