Entertainment lineup announced for 2017 Harrison County Fair
Organizers say the 2017 Harrison County Fair will come back even bigger and better with some hits from last year, a few new additions, and a long lineup of free live entertainment.
This year’s fair will run September 6th through 10th with some of last year’s favorites including church night and the Harrison County Fair Pageant along with all the arts, crafts, and food. Some new attractions include a televised steer wrestling competition and a beef show. Admission and live entertainment will still be free this year, but fairgoers will have the option to make a donation to a local charity.
The long list of live entertainment includes I Heart Memphis with an opening act from DJ Hyphee Friday night and county music singer Rae-Lynn headlining Saturday with opening act from local country music singer Cole Jones. “Anytime you get to open for a tremendous act such as Rae Lynn, somebody that’s just super talented and somebody that’s got a lot of stuff going on in the industry, it’s a huge blessing and huge opportunity. I’m thankful for the Harrison County Fair and everybody for having me and I’m really looking forward to getting out and putting on a good show for everybody,” said Jones.
