Apply to be a Moss Point School Board member

The City of Moss Point is looking to fill a spot on the Moss Point School Board.
The city is accepting applications on their website for a new school board member. Applicants must be registered voters and residents of Moss Point.
Mayor Mario King explains they’re on the lookout for someone with good talent, who is good with budgets, has some college experience, and who can be a role model for the students. “We have a very strong school board and we want to keep it that way. We also want to make sure that we have someone on the school board that can relate to our children. So, hopefully, someone that grew up in Moss Point, someone that has the Moss Point roots, hopefully a teacher or a principal from Moss Point, an old administrator and I can think of several that I would love to take this interim appointment, but we wanted to create this appointment for fairness and equity.”
