Gulfport Football receives their Class 7A State Championship rings at the Admiral Championship Awards!

After five months of waiting, lots of celebrating, and reliving the final drive that ended in a game tying Hail Mary followed by a game winning field goal, the Gulfport High School Football team has officially received their class 7A State Championship Rings.

The Gulfport Football community joined together at the high school auditorium for a red-carpet event; the Admiral Championship Awards. The night included a meal for the team, celebratory videos, several awards highlighting the people and moments that brought them to the gold ball, and of course the reveal of their long awaited and hard-earned rings. We spoke to Head Coach Blake Pennock as well as Parker Nettles and Cooper Crosby after this outstanding Admiral night that ended with some bling.

Congratulations again to the Gulfport Admirals for their first ever Class 7A Football State Championship title. We’ve enjoyed covering all the celebrations leading up to this point!
