Pearl River Community College welcomes back their NJCAA Division II Softball World Series Champions!

The 2026 Pearl River Community College Softball team is the first-ever program to bring home the NJCAA Division II World Series Championship Title. Just one day later, their Wildcat community showed up in full force to show their support. Sports Director Ansley Brent was there and brings us the story now.

The World Champions are officially home! In their first ever appearance, the PRCC Lady Wildcat softball team is back in Poplarville as the NJCAA Division II World Series Champions. After family and fans lined the streets and welcomed their favorite athletes, WXXV spoke with some world champions and their fearless leader, Head Coach Christie Meeks!
