Two injured in Memorial Day shooting in Pearl River County, deputies search for suspects

PEARL RIVER COUNTY, Miss. (WXXV)- Two people were injured in a Memorial Day shooting in Pearl River County and sheriff’s deputies are now searching for suspects.

Sheriff’s investigators say it happened around 6:30 Monday evening near the corner of Lilac and Clover drives in Picayune.

The two people who were shot have non-life-threatening injuries and multiple shots were fired by more than one gunman.
