WWII Hangar Restoration Ceremony

The Gulfport-Biloxi international airport officially handed over the world war two hangars to the Mississippi National Guard.

Airport and military leaders gathered outside of the restored hangar to sign the dotted line passing over the historical landmark.

The exterior of the hangar was recently renovated and the significance of the restoration stems from the extreme damage the entire airport saw during hurricane Katrina.

Now airport officials are happy to hand over the hangar to help mission growth in our military.
