Man Killed In Jackson County Traffic Accident Today

On Wednesday, May 25, 2016 at around 4:00 AM, the Jackson County Sheriff’s Department Responded to a traffic crash at the intersection of Franklin Creek Rd and the median crossover of the Interstate 10 off ramp. A Yamaha motorcycle was being driven southbound on Franklin Creek Rd. by Howard Martin, age 42, or Pascagoula, MS. His motorcycle struck a Pontiac sedan, which was driven by Dionel Davis, age 40, of Mobile, AL. Forts Lake Fire Department and Acadian Ambulance Service responded to the crash scene also. Mr. Martin died as a result of injuries he sustained during the crash. The accident is being investigated by the traffic Division of the Jackson County Sheriff’s Department.
