Pascagoula-Gautier School District announces changes to meal program

JACKSON COUNTY, Miss. (WXXV)- The Pascagoula Gautier School District is sharing an update to their meal program for the next school year.

Due to increased household incomes, the school district can no longer take part in the USDA’s free meal programs.

Lunch meals will be 40 cents on the reduced plan while full price is $3.25. Breakfast at the middle and high schools will be 30 cents for reduced and $2.25 in full.

Breakfast will remain free for all pre-K through sixth grade students.

A free and reduced-price meal application will be available after July 1. A new one will need to be completed even if you filled one out for this school year.
