B-Alert system returns to Biloxi

BILOXI, Miss. (WXXV)- The City of Biloxi’s text message alert system is back after a months-long hiatus.

All you have to do is text Biloxi to 77295 to get public safety alerts, traffic advisories, and more.

The original B-Alert system went down in December 2025 after a cybersecurity incident and the city has worked since that time to move the system to a new platform.
