Man arrested on multiple charges in Pearl River County

PEARL RIVER COUNTY, Miss. (WXXV)- The Pearl River County Sheriff’s Department is sharing details on an arrest made May 8.

Robert Hayden was wanted on multiple warrants, trying to escape by car when investigators made contact.

Hayden almost hit one of the deputies, stopping his car after a brief chase.

He tried to escape on foot before he was captured. Deputies found meth on his person when searched.

Hayden was brought to the Lenoir Rowell Criminal Justice Facility and booked on multiple charges.
