Gulfport Police Department investigating shooting on Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd

GULFPORT, Miss. (WXXV)- The Gulfport Police Department is investigating a shooting that happened in the 3300 block of Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard near the Isiah Fredericks Community Center.

According to police, it happened around 9:13pm on Thursday. GPD says one person was shot multiple times, and they are in critical condition.

At this time, there are no suspects in custody.
