Singing River Health Care Academy celebrates students earning medical certifications

OCEAN SPRINGS, Miss. (WXXV)- The latest class of Singing River Health Care Academy students in the Pascagoula Gautier School District were celebrated Thursday.

The ceremony was held at the Ocean Springs Hospital.

Students in this program have now come away with certifications in phlebotomy, as well as nursing and medical assistant roles, helping to give them a head start on their careers in the medical industry.

Since 2021, the academy’s partnership with the Pascagoula-Gautier School District allows high school students to pursue these certifications at no cost.
