Major milestone reached on Long Beach Gateway Project

LONG BEACH, Miss. (WXXV)- The City of Long Beach says a major milestone has been reached on the Long Beach Gateway project.

The construction fence surrounding the project has officially come down as work continues on the new entrance into the city.

The landscaping and asphalt work are expected to begin in the coming weeks.

Drivers are still being asked to use caution while traveling through the area.
