House Fire On Dixie Avenue

Another home went up in flames the same night. The Gulfport Fire Department says a burnt home on Dixie Avenue is a total loss. Fire fighters responded arrived to the scene around seven pm. That call came just an hour before the fire on Mills Avenue fire crews had to put this fire out before getting to the next one just two streets away. “That house was really on fire really bad and they say it’s in bad shape it burned up it’s got to be repaired from the inside out it looks like. I did see flames, it was coming out the windows when the fire department opened up the door, and it was coming out the door.” Gulfport Fire Department is still investigating what caused the house to go up in flames.
