Camden Clark’s career day earns both Sun Belt and Baseball America honors!

It’s no secret that the Southern Miss pitching staff had a breakthrough weekend in their Sunbelt series win over ULM.  One of those arms that simply had the game of his life was former Pearl River Wildcat and Saturday starter, Camden Clark.  Not only did the Sun Belt Conference take notice of the performance, but also Baseball America.

After his career day of 15 strikeouts through seven innings, throwing strikes 79 percent of the time, Camden Clark has been named the Sun Belt Pitcher of the Week and earned a spot on Baseball America’s National Team of the Week.
After his stellar performance on the mound, we caught up with Clark and the Head Coach of the Golden Eagles, Christian Ostrander. You can hear about what went right for Clark on the mound in the video above.
